word series {carry}

This is the first post of my word series. God is teaching me what it means to carry. I cannot explain to you how {perfect} this quote is for where I am at in life. Sometimes I get ahead of myself.. okay maybe a little more than sometimes! I have always been interested in the next step, the next adventure, the next stage in life... and lately I have been struggling with how God will use me in life. Sometimes I worry that if I get married and have children, I won't be able to do something great for the kingdom while I'm here.. like dig wells or work with trafficking victims around the world. This is a lie that I have let myself believe! Let me remind you of the quote again...


"Think of the world you carry within you" - Rainer Maria Rilke


Wooooah. I believe this is just what God has been trying to teach me. I am a missionary within myself, I carry the potential to stir up greatness wherever I am. I LOVE that word, carry! God will use us where we are! Did you know that? It's not about where we are, but WHO we carry within us.


"For it is God who works IN you to will and to act according to his good purpose"
Philippians 2:13


So no matter where we are, God is at work within us. So if your dreams are crazy like mine are, just relax and know that God has it ALL under control.


Think of the LOVE OF GOD that you carry within you!
Think of the OPPORTUNITIES that you carry within you!
Think of the POWER that you carry within you!
Think of the LIGHT that you carry within you!
Think of the JOY that you carry within you!
Think of JESUS that you carry within you!
